What is your role and responsibilities at KYBORA?
I support deal origination and execution as a subject matter expert in the field of Med Tech and the Latin America region.
What are some of your most proud achievements or accomplishments?
I have had a successful career with more than 35 years of experience as a senior executive in global med tech and pharmaceutical companies, including P&L management, go to market strategy, setting up new operations and building organizations overseas, both organically and via acquisitions.
Do you have any relevant or notable experience that you would like to highlight?
I have a unique background in international markets for proprietary pharmaceuticals, generics, medical devices, and nutritional products. I also have experience managing a large generics and medical devices business in the U.S. I was President of International with Hill-Rom, President of the Americas with Hospira, and General Manager Mexico and Poland with Abbott Laboratories. I founded Procursum Medical, a boutique consulting firm advising med tech and pharmaceutical companies in their international expansion strategies to bring innovative medical technology and pharmaceutical drugs to new geographies.
Are you a member of any notable boards, societies, organizations, etc. that you would like to share?
I am a member of the International Executive Resources Group (IERG), a global non-profit, professional association for executives who have lived and worked outside of their home countries at senior levels for extended periods and been enriched by in-depth exposure to diverse business environments and cultures around the world. I am a past mentor with the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, a global non profit organization with the core purpose to further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare.

I have a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I love learning about and tasting wines from around the world, with a special fondness for Mexican wines.
Are you a sports fan? Who are your favorite teams or player?
I am a big soccer fan.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always dreamed of becoming a professional soccer player, but I was never good enough.
