What is your role and responsabilities at KYBORA?
I am responsible for establishing the company’s vision and working with the team to achieve it. I work on building a high performance culture focused on delivering quality results for our clients.
What are some of your most proud achievements or accomplishments?
Creating value for our clients, our employees, and patients around the world are constant sources of satisfaction for me. KYBORA receiving its first check and closing its first M&A transaction are both proud moments. Having worked in the biopharma industry for more than 25 years across all continents and building great relationships with amazing people worldwide has brought me a lot of joy.
Do you have any relevant or notable experience that you would like to highlight?
I have been involved in the biopharma industry for over 25 years now. I started my career as a management consultant focused on leading large ERP implementations in various industries. My specialties were finance and supply chain. I learned a lot during that time, from providing valuable advice to companies to understanding how industries function from the cash flow and movement of goods standpoints. In 2011, I decided to launch KYBORA. I always had an entrepreneurial mind and knew that I wanted to do something that would help biopharma companies do deals globally. At the time, everyone was speaking about emerging markets and how the growth of the industry would come from these territories where populations were growing, aging, and becoming wealthier. Very few companies understood how to do deals in these complex markets. I started by myself and slowly built an organization. Twelve years later, KYBORA is now a global strategic advisory firm headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey, with offices in Basel, Switzerland, and Shanghai, China, and a direct presence in all key biopharma markets around the world. I am very proud of what we have been able to achieve in this short period of time.
